Video Lesson - Moving Off and Stopping
This clip shows the procedure to moving off and stopping.
To accelerate and move away efficently you should start gently pressing the gas pedal (accelerator) and then slowly raise the clutch. Continue accelerating gently as you let the clutch up.
If the car jerks, you need to let the clutch up more slowly or press the gas pedal a little more. If the engine roars, use less pressure on the gas or let the clutch up a little further.
