What to expect on your
Motorcycle practical test

To pass the practical motorcycle test you need to pass its two separate modules within two years of passing your motorcycle theory test.

first module

will test you doing set manoeuvres on the motorcycle in a safe off-road area.

Below is the Official DVSA to guide to what happens during the module 1 motorcycle test and what it takes to pass it - including riding a slalom and figure of 8, a slow ride, a U-turn, cornering and a controlled stop, cornering and an emergency stop and cornering and hazard avoidance.

The second module

is the on-road test.

Official DVSA to guide to what happens during the module 2 motorcycle practical test and what it takes to pass it - including the eyesight test, 'show me, tell me' questions, road riding, and independent riding part of the test.



Practice makes perfect, so get plenty of practice from an Approved Riding Instructor.
