Reverse Round a Left Corner

Driving test changes 4th December 2017
NOTE:- The Car driving test in England, Scotland and Wales changed since Monday 4 December 2017. The ‘reverse around a corner’ and ‘turn-in-the-road’ manoeuvres will no longer be tested, but it's important that you still learn how to do these and your instructor should still teach you. Find out more about changes to the practical driving test

Using reverse gear is difficult for new drivers.

The car steers differently, the front wheels become, in effect, the rear ones. When you drive forward you can see the car turning when you steer. In reverse, you have to wait for the steering to take effect.

Practice makes perfect, so get plenty of practice from a Approved Driving Instructor
